Overlooking Leeds Dock, the Royal Armouries is home to a range of world-class weaponry, allowing visitors to explore arms and armour collections from across the world and throughout time.
Located at Roundhay Park, it’s one of the UK’s most popular garden tourist attractions.
Discover exotic wildlife, beautiful rainforests and tumbling waterfalls, all in the heart of Leeds. Tropical World is also home to the biggest collection of tropical plants outside of Kew Gardens.
Bring the kids out of their comfort zone with the ultimate tree-top adventure at Go Ape. Featuring Tarzan swing, zip wires and a free-falling plummet, this one isn’t for the faint hearted – although there is a variety of courses to suit every ability. Located at Temple Newsam, there’s also the lush woodlands and farm to visit, as well as the stately home, so it’s worth making a day of it.
Open from May – September, the outdoor pool is the perfect way to cool off during the summer months. Pack a picnic and soak up the beautiful views of Ilkley Moor while the kids take the plunge.
This massive new indoor inflatable park is the best place to go to burn some of that excess energy off. Packed full of interactive inflatable obstacles and attractions, it’s sure to be a big hit with children of all ages.
Located in Millennium Square, this attraction brings a slice of the seaside to the centre of Leeds with a wide range of traditional beach-side activities, food and drink on offer.
